My heart is racing. It’s as if I’d just ran 10 miles. Beads of sweat start to form on my forehead. I move my hand over to my mouse. Take a deep breathe…and then as quick as possible I back as far away from my computer.
I really wanted to buy that stock, but what if I make a mistake?
I want to crack the code and know how to invest in stocks like the “big boys” on Wall Street.
Stock Market Jitters
I have to admit, investing in the stock market has always been something that I really want to do, but am never really able to pull the trigger on. Can you relate?
Yes, I know, I am a Certified Financial Planner professional and I understand the technical mechanics of the stock market and what makes a great stock. Personally though, I’ve seen a lot of people get really banged up in the stock market. I just really don’t like to lose money.
Technology however has taken the stock market from good to great – well at least in the ability to learn all sorts of information about stocks and how to invest.
Just go to Twitter and search “stock tips” and you will be overwhelmed by the amount of information you can read. For the analytics out there, I am sure that you are like a kid in a candy store when you can research a new stock. For us “creative types,” we just want something simple and easy, and of course we’d love to make a buck too.
Sprinklebit To The Rescue
Meet Sprinkebit’s Founder and CEO, Alex Wallin. Alex is a cool kid who took the ultimate risk and traded in his cash on a hunch that if people love Facebook and sharing, why not create an investing platform that brings those two worlds together.
Hence, Sprinklebit was born. (In case you are wondering how the name came about- Sprinkle= distribute and bit= information.)
Sprinklebit is a great find to crack the , “How do i use social media to invest in stocks,” code.
Talking with smart risk-takers is one of my very favorite things to do. Alex is no exception, after all he’s young and already making waves as a pioneer in his field. Quoting his favorite book The Wisdom of Crowds- [Tweet “The crowd is smarter than the smartest person in the room #everydayfinance #investing #Sprinklebit”] “Sprinklebit is on a mission to prove that is true,” proclaims Wallin.
You know that smart kid that you keep watching who is making all that money in the stock market?
Through Sprinklebit’s platform you can leverage the knowledge from the “smartest kid in the room” and learn why they decided to pick the stock they did. It’s up to you then whether you want to buy or sell that stock, but hey, at least you aren’t shooting in the dark anymore.
Sharing really is caring!
2 + 2 = 4
First, you’ve got Sprinkle University with 24 FREE lessons to teach you all about stock investing, how to pick a stock and much more. I’ve gone through them all and they are pretty solid.
Second, you’ve got the ability to watch others through their online community. Come on, I know I’m not the only one that likes to spy on people!
Third, and this is super, super, super cool, you can use their simulator in a risk-free environment where you get $5,000 in Sprinkle bucks to actually simulate your investing. You can pick some stocks, or just spy on others, and see how a stock will do with $5,000 mock dollars for a month or two.
Fourth, when you are really ready to lay down your own bucks, you can use their super simple platform to buy and sell stocks. Get this- you only have to pay $8.00 for a trade, but Sprinklebit will give you a free trade if you explain why you made this investing decision.
Sprinklebit is putting their money where their mouth is.
It’s all about community!
From The Mouth Of An Entrepreneur
Alex has some serious swagger. I don’t know about you, but I love to soak up the wisdom from other entrepreneurs. On the touchy subject of fear Alex professes, “Don’t take failure to heart. It is a learning experience. A start-up is about how quickly you can learn and adapt.”
“Don’t be afraid.”
Great advice for just about anything in life, especially from a guy who is already blazing a path towards superstardom.
